The parents of active young children often worry about how much sun they’re being exposed to while outside. The sun can damage a young child’s eyes if they aren’t protected. Fortunately, our Adventure sunglasses for youth are the perfect choice for your young son or daughter.

I purchased a pair of Bolt Youth sunglasses along with these Adventure Youth sunglasses. The Bolt glasses are anatomically correct and fit well. The Adventure Youth glasses are molded to fit a sphere; the ends are within 1/4 inch of touching each other when opened to place on your head. The glasses look ridiculous when on a child’s head as they arc well away from the temples to behind the ears, which also lets the sun penetrate a child’s eyes. Horrible design!

Sunglasses arrived very quickly just in time for long holiday weekend. Unfortunately, both pair were too big for my daughter but when I called Customer Service today the lady was very helpful and I have requested an exchange for a smaller size. It might be helpful to add a mm converter to the Real Kids site so it is easier to determine the correct frame size when ordering. My daughter is 10years old but the YOUTH (7+) were actually too large. Hoping for a better fit with the KIDS (4+)!
