For months, we had the opportunity to tell you all about the “Most Beautiful Eyes Contest” from our friends at Prevent Blindness America, and now we are thrilled to have the opportunity to make the official announcement! The winner of the contest is Miss Ava Lloyd, a four year old girl from South Dakota!
This year’s Most Beautiful Eyes Contest was a fabulous success. With contestants from all over the country, the contest not only gathered much anticipation, but it also reminded parents of the importance of eye health and safety for children.
For winning the contest, Ava and her family enjoyed a trip to Chicago to attend the Prevent Blindness America Annual Awards Banquet held on November 2nd at Chicago’s Conrad Hotel. She was also awarded with a $10,000 educational scholarship for her future. Her mother, Meggen Lloyd said, “Not only are we happy that Ava will benefit with this generous scholarship for her future education, but we are also proud to be a part of something that brings awareness to the importance of healthy vision for children.”
