It seems like there’s an overwhelming amount of things to think about when you have a baby. Sorry to say, we have one more item to add to your to-do list: It’s important to make sure your baby has proper eye protection from harmful UV rays.
Your baby may just be hanging in the car seat or baby carrier, but you still need to protect their delicate eyes from the sun. Think about it—when they’re sitting reclined in a car seat, their little faces are tilted toward the sun. The same goes when they’re facing out in a Baby Bjorn-style baby carrier.
The guidelines for protecting infant eyes are simple—whenever you head outside, put a hat and sunglasses on your baby. The babies in the photo below are ready to go in our sunglass and hat combo. This set is comprised of My First Shades as well as our new sun hat, which provides UPF 50 protection. These cuties are ready for anything the day brings their way!
