Even though it’s always sad to see another Summer go, a lot of people are pretty excited for Fall’s arrival. Fall brings cooler temperatures, open windows, football season, and warm meals. There are so many unique things that make Fall a popular season. Show your kids why Fall is something to look forward to with these 7 activities.

  1. Corn Maze- Corn season is in full effect, and nothing says Fall like a corn maze. Kids are always up for a challenge, especially one that involves running, competition and a finish line.

  2. Take A Hike- What comes to mind when we think about Fall? For a lot of us, this means the leaves changing colors and showcasing a beautiful collection of reds, oranges and yellows. This color change only lasts for so long before it’s gone. Grab the kids to go on a hike and take in the seasonal changes.

  3. Leaf Pile- Speaking of leaves, these colorful plant objects begin falling off of trees and leaving a crunchy layer over the ground to walk through. A fun way to clean up the yard and keep the kids occupied is grabbing a rake and building a giant pile for the kids to play in.

  4. Football- Fall and football go together like two peas in a pod. A family outing to a football game, whether it’s professional or local, is always an exciting event to bond and get excited over. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

  5. Camping- Temperatures allow for sleeping in tents landing right in the middle of sweating and freezing. You can set up a tent in the backyard with s’mores and a campfire, or go full throttle in a nearby campground for the full experience.

  6. Pumpkin Patch- Pumpkins are a Fall staple with Halloween approaching. Taking the kids to pick out pumpkins helps them to feel creative and independent in their choices. Sometimes, a pumpkin patch will even provide hayrides.

  7. Pumpkin Carving- Pumpkin fun doesn’t stop at the patch. Have you seen the carving kits that are out these days? TV characters, phrases, and Halloween themes are only a few of the options. Kids can showcase their skills and feel proud of their final product.
